Metaverse Technology in Education: Enhancing Education for the Future

One of the modern technologies with the most promise is the metaverse, according to experts. But there aren't many discussions on using the metaverse for education. Many instructors might not be familiar with the metaverse's characteristics or the possible uses for this cutting-edge technology. A trend in future education has been hailed as the metaverse, a 3D digital environment that combines the actual and virtual worlds. In order to aid research in this field of study, this paper provides a summarized review on metaverse technology in Education, its application and how it is changing the Education sector. However, the challenges of metaverse on education is also highlighted. This work, in our opinion, convincingly illustrates the versatility of metaverse-driven education and points the way toward a potential future for research in this area.
