Afterword

Today’s Druidry is a modern movement, but it simultaneously displays clear counter-modern tendencies. This can be seen in the stress it places on building relationships with place and with the wider-than-human community, but also in the centrality it gives to ritual, something that counters the trajectory of modernity. This afterword considers such issues as well as the importance of studying modern Druids.
