This paper introduces the ACT Card Game, a design tool developed to aid ideation for projects centred around Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The card game assists ‘players’ in exploring diverse design directions by drawing prompts from three decks of cards: Actor, Context, and Tool. By leveraging the strengths of card-based design tools alongside engaging gameplay mechanics, the game facilitates creative thinking and collaborative discussions. It enables players, including newcomers to the concept, to devise innovative solutions for achieving the SDGs. The card game has proven effective in various educational settings, including workshops with high school students and in the initial phases of design projects with university students. Users find the card game easy to use and encouraging broader thinking, while emphasizing that every individual, or “actor”, can contribute to the achievement of the SDG.

摘要
