摘要

In this chapter, the authors share findings from a study that engaged Indigenous early childhood educators in reflecting on what innovation in early childhood education meant for them as well as what promoted shifts in their practice within Indigenous early childhood contexts. The chapter highlights how the innovation stories of four Indigenous early childhood educators were deeply connected with the resurgence of land-based education and Anishinaabe ways of being and doing as expressed through land-based artefacts the educators created.
