A Childlike Pedagogical Journey of Questions in Brazil

This chapter narrates pedagogical encounters and experiences with children and educators that took place during a 100-day pedagogical journey that the author took along the northeastern states of Brazil to commemorate the pedagogy of the renowned Brazilian educational philosopher Paulo Freire’s centenary. Children’s, educators’, and colleagues’ words, drawings, and wisdom that were shared in multiple intimate and special places are presented and considered as a way of (re)thinking the relation between time and place in early childhood education.
