Phenomenology of RFR Absorption by Biological Molecules and Membranes

The search for nonthermal-specific molecular resonances has been a search for “ghosts.” The field has been plagued with irreproducible results and nondose responsive effects (“windows” of responsiveness). Furthermore, the nonuniformity of radiofrequency radiation (RFR) absorption and the large variation in this property across the frequency range have led to the poor measurement of energy absorption indicated by temperature changes (classical electromagnetic mechanisms). One might say the precision and appropriateness of measurement are everything in RFR bioeffects. A central aspect of the problem is trivializing the importance of dosimetry by biologists, as well as engineers and physicists trivializing the difficulty of making such measurements in biological preparations in situ during RFR exposure.
