Hypotheses of Images and Architectural Spaces in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

We present the latest phase of research (Unali et al. Transizioni. Atti del 44° Convegno Internazionale dei Docenti delle Discipline della Rappresentazione/Transitions. Proceedings of the 44th International Conference of Representation Disciplines Teachers, pp. 3226–3243. FrancoAngeli, Milano [1]) on the conformation of architectonic spaces and creative forms processed primarily through the medium of generative AI, from text-to-image to morpho-generative modelling. In this new phase of the research, the elaboration processes have been updated and expanded with respect to the most recent forms of generative AI, which generally concern the various applications in the fields of architecture, design, cultural heritage (tangible and intangible), but also the didactics of design (in the various degree courses). The representations generated during the research have allowed us to investigate and experiment with the main processes offered by AI software, while also exploring hybridizations with well-established techno-cultural representation processes.
