The Grimaldina Tower in Genoa. A Case Study Between Technology and Visual Communication
摘要
The Grimaldina Tower has been one of the symbols of the city of Genoa since the Middle Ages. Initially serving as the town's first tower and later used as a prison, it still bears the marks of its history inside, such as engravings and paintings left by those who unfortunately passed through its cells. The tower, currently undergoing restoration, will remain difficult to access due to the structural limitations of the site. Additionally, the marks inside are often hard to read. A virtual tour and augmented reality projections of paths and drawings will make the structure accessible to anyone who wishes to explore it.
