From Art for Industry to Artificial Intelligence, a Complex Balance in a Case from the Centrale Montemartini

During the Industrial Revolution of the early XXth century, various elements of architecture from the industrial building met the current languages of art. Inspired by Art Nouveau and by the will to demonstrate the positive quality of energy, production, and innovation, various components and building layouts assumed those languages from small details to entire architectural sectors.
