Immersive Technologies for the Remote Fruition of an Inaccessible Archaeological Complex: The Site of Cento Camerelle in the Phlegraean Fields Archaeological Park
摘要
The team coordinated by Professor Florio has been involved for years in the survey, graphic restitution, and digitisation of archaeological sites, particularly those scattered around the Phlegraean Fields (Fig. 1). Particular attention has been paid to experimenting with new methodologies for the fruition of archaeological assets when they cannot be physically accessed. In light of the difficulties affecting the area and its complex management that emerged during the several survey campaigns, we planned to develop and implement a knowledge platform as the repository for the collected data.
