Virtual and Mixed Reality for the Enhancement of an Absence: The Case of the Artemis Statue
摘要
The essay reflects on today’s exhibition strategies, through which it is possible to enhance the absence of a work from its museum context, by experimenting with multimodal and multimedia configurations suitable for informing different audiences, so much to involve them in real digital narratives that can incentivize the desire to return to visit the tangible artistic asset as soon as it returns to its usual venue.
