IoT-Driven Smart Housing: Strengthening Housing Society Automation Through Secure and Futuristic Networks

Technological evolution with lighting speed is wrapping everything from the short of daily household works to global trade. It is the most exploding industry in the twentieth century. In this paper an idea is proposed how real estate businesses can automate housing society based on IoT and Networking architecture. To visually present proposed idea, it is simulated in Cisco Packet Tracer. All houses, power station, control center and bank in simulated environment are setup with IoT devices and connected using switches and routers. Using VLSM (Variable Length Subnet Mask) techniques all networks of connected devices are assigned IP address for unique identification. Through this simulation, an attempt has been made how networking can help IoT devices to make a housing society smarter and secure. In future, we are ambitious to expand this research by integrating machine learning concepts to make this network, work intelligently and can predict events and respond to them accordingly.
