Development and Improvement of State Estimation Implementation in State Grid China

摘要

The operation risks of large-scale hybrid AC/DC power grid with a high penetration of renewable energy faced by State Grid continue to increase, and there is an urgent need for an accurate and reliable state estimation software to provide technical support for the safe and stable operation of the power grid. Then, the state estimation algorithm by decoupling hybrid AC/DC network is introduced. Further, the assessment of state estimation result and unbalanced power-based data check methods are presented. The state estimation implementation under mature D5000 dispatching platform is illustrated with some examples. Finally, the current ongoing development work under dispatching cloud platform is described. Enhanced state estimation with help of artificial intelligence is under study to help efficiently accommodate even high proportion renewable energy in the future.
