Kosovo Liberation Army on Trial
摘要
This chapter illustrates the legal consequences of the Council of Europe Report on “Inhuman treatment of people and illicit trafficking in human organs in Kosovo”, which accuses members of the Kosovo Liberation Army for their alleged involvement in war crimes, including organ trafficking. It discussed the judicial mechanisms established to prosecute and adjudicate these allegations, i.e., the Kosovo Specialist Chambers, and the political problems and controversies associated with its establishment and functioning. The chapter also sheds light on the political implications for the Kosovo Liberation Army and its image as a liberation army.
