摘要

The global outbreak of COVID-19 necessitates a profound understanding of the molecular aspects of the causative agent, SARS-CoV-2. This study employs the Basic Local Alignment Search Tool (BLAST) to discern crucial insights into COVID-19 proteins. Leveraging BLAST, our investigation identifies and analyzes COVID-19 proteins with precision. Through sequence alignment, we unveil significant details about the functions of viral proteins, contributing to our understanding of their roles in disease progression. Our findings also shed light on potential interactions between viral and host proteins, enriching our comprehension of the virus's impact on cellular processes. Additionally, we explore the evolutionary relationships between COVID-19 proteins and other coronaviruses, providing context for their genetic evolution. These key findings provide a foundation for further research, guiding the development of targeted therapies and diagnostics in the ongoing battle against COVID-19.
