摘要

This paper explores a novel communication model employing a channel with multiple interconnected nodes between the sender and recipient nanomachines. The channel mimics a tissue-like structure, where each cell represents a node, and communication between adjacent cells is based on calcium signalling, a well-established biological mechanism. The nodes’ behaviour within the channel is inspired by the Abelian sandpile model (ASM). The suggested model in this paper has been evaluated using the verification tool PRISM model checker. Various experiments had been conducted for the verification of acknowledgement reception. The experiments were performed on channels of various sizes to assess the system’s performance and behaviour. The results highlight that the reception of acknowledgments is influenced by the size of the channel between the sender and recipient nanomachines.
