Polluted air contains gaseous components and suspended particles such as particulate matterParticulate matter. All these constituents have different chemical compositions, origins and health consequences. Human-induced climate changeClimate change significantly affects global health, particularly the cardiovascular system. Fossil fuel combustion, a major contributor to rising CO2 levels, drives undeniable warming. Also it has been a correlation between traffic noiseTraffic noise (encompassing road, aircraft, and railway noise) and an elevated risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseasesMetabolic diseases. Humans are continually exposed to electromagnetic radiationElectromagnetic radiation, both diagnostic and therapeutic. Human radiation exposuresRadiation exposure may increase risk for developing initial steps for the cardiovascular disease pathology.
