A Two Dimensional Sediment Transport Problem of Spherical Sediments by Roe Scheme

This work is a study of dam-break problem over a sandy bed, specially effects of several parameter such as sediment shape. The physical problem is mathematically modeled by a coupled model and a non-capacity model. The Governing equations are solved numerically by Roe scheme. In order to achieve second order accuracy in space and time, MUSCL and Runge–Kutta methods are used, respectively. An special treatment of the source term satisfying the C-property is implemented. An adaptive mesh is used in order to reach higher level of accuracy while gaining on computational time. Different results are shown for different computational time.
