Differential Structures
摘要
This chapter describes differential structures for analog and digital applications. Differential circuits provide several advantages compared to their single-ended counterparts such as insensitivity to reference ground mismatch between the transmitter and the receiver, better noise resilience, as well as higher-speed performance owing to better interference suppression. This chapter starts by introducing the concept of electrical noise. Afterwards, the main idea behind differential circuits is presented before detailing analog followed by digital differential structures.
