Basic Applications

Three of the most basic and important applications of electronic circuits are signal amplification, signal filtering, and logic computation. This chapter starts by looking into the two main variations of amplifiers: regular and operational. We will model them behaviorally and look into their non-idealities. This is followed by continuous-time filtering where we will look into passive and active filters. Finally, logic gates for computation are briefly discussed along with their non-idealities.
