Mixed-Signal Circuits
摘要
Many applications require circuits that deal with signals that are neither purely analog nor purely digital. These circuits are called mixed-signal circuits. In this chapter, we will introduce the concept of mixed-signal circuits and some of their applications. The added complexity allows these circuits to achieve some performance levels and functionalities that cannot be attained otherwise. This chapter looks into comparators, switched-capacitor circuits, sample-and-hold circuits, digital-to-analog converters, analog-to-digital converters, as well as oscillators and phase-locked loops.
