Optimizing An Engine Operation Using A Statistical Approach
摘要
This work has the main purpose of optimizing a Larzac engine operation, through the detection and correction of anomalies based on the information of a dataset from a test bench. This topic arose from the need to respond to the problem of lack of propulsive force detected on some Larzac engines and consequent immobilization. The manuscript focuses on the collection and statistical analysis of operating and configuration data of the engine contributing to the identification of its operating pattern. It was found that the number of measured parameters was limited but some causes of the problem could be identified. The obtained results also contributed partially to design a diagnostic system. Based on the measured parameters and by comparison with the established operating standard and respective trends, this allowed us to be able to indicate the origin of some anomalies and suggest the maintenance actions to prevent them.
