摘要

This article discusses the final processing of parts in free abrasives. The main characteristics of the vibration processing method, the influence of the working medium and processing modes on the formation of the parameters of the permanent surface roughness of the part are considered. An analysis of the existing mathematical dependencies for the determination of the surface roughness of parts that are processed in the medium of free abrasives is additionally carried out. It is argued that the existing theoretical models do not allow the calculation of the parameters that characterize the surface after vibration processing, because they do not reflect the relationship between the processing conditions and the quality parameters of the products’ surface roughness. The results of studies where abrasive granules effect the operating time of vibration grinding of parts samples are also given. It is proven that the use of a high-performance abrasive tool in the form of P12 makes it possible to obtain the necessary technological result: namely the reduction of the operational time of processing by up to 35%. It is shown that P12-shaped granules keep their original shape, which ensures their constant high productivity throughout the entire period of operation.
