An Ultrasonic Cooling Method for Small Solid Heat Sources
摘要
In this work, a cooling method, which employs acoustic lens and piezoelectric ceramic sheet to cool a small heat source in air, is proposed and investigated. The acoustic lens has tapered wall along its length. The optimal cooling position is found and the vibration mode is computed by COMSOL software. At the optimal relative position between the piezoelectric cooling device and heat source, the temperature drop is 33.8 °C when the initial temperature is 195 ± 2 °C, and the response time of the cooling process is 9.6 s.
