Design of Intelligent Anti-theft Alarm System for Electric Bicycles Based on NB-IoT

The electric bicycle is the most convenient transportation tool, but it has a serious problems of its battery easy to lose and difficult to find back, causing a great impact on people's life. In view of this, a newly intelligent anti-theft alarm device based on the technology of narrow band internet of things (NB-IoT) for the electric bicycle is proposed. The device consists of a global positioning system (GPS) module, a microcontroller, a power switch circuit, an attitude sensor, a pressure sensor and a NB-IoT module, which is used to connect with the client to send the real-time monitoring status of the electric bicycle. The test results show that the device has the advantages of high sensitivity, reliable operation, and easy to use. This innovative approach, utilizing the advantages of NB-IoT connectivity, contributes to the field of electric vehicles by introducing a comprehensive anti-theft system that enhances security and control features for electric vehicles.
