Structural Design and Research of Bionic Turtle Underwater Surveyor

Based on the biological structure, motion characteristics and other design performance of mechanical systems gradually improve the quality of life and replace the artificial hazardous operations and other occasions show good prospects for application, now imitating the flexibility and stability of the turtle, the design of a new bionic turtle based on a single-motor power output attitude adjustable to complete the underwater water environment monitoring operations, and timely discovery of abnormal changes in the water quality of the test waters. This paper describes in detail the main drive system of the bionic turtle, the design of the flapping wing mechanism, the estimation of the motion state and the analysis of hydrofoil efficiency. The design is simple, lightweight, practical and environmentally friendly, providing a new idea for underwater environmental monitoring operations.
