Enhancing the Sustainability Financing Instrument in the Humanitarian Economy Through the Issuing of Sukuk
摘要
The matter concerning the provision of funds for humanitarian purposes is an ongoing concern that does not seem to have an end in sight. This situation has been exacerbated by the arrival of the Ukraine conflict, which coincided with a global economic crisis. Moreover, this predicament is further compounded the various challenges faced by other nations. Thus, the unresolved issue of humanitarian funding continues to persist. At present, the existing humanitarian assistance appears to be inadequate in meeting the requisite financial requirements, particularly in light of the geopolitical crisis factor. Consequently, it becomes imperative to explore alternative avenues for securing sustainable humanitarian financing. Sukuk has emerged as a viable option in this regard due to its inherent stability against the backdrop of the global economic crisis. Notably, this paper is undertaking a conceptual exploratory study in order to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the research, thereby aiding researchers in gaining deeper insights and obtaining solutions to the extensive study currently underway. Therefore, this paper undertakes an analysis of the indispensability of humanitarian assistance, the potential of sukuk, and the predicament, associated with the current humanitarian instrument.
