Superheated drying using a computational method is a game-changer for the food industry’s drying process, enabling quicker and more efficient drying while enhancing product quality. Using superheated steam as the drying agent., computational modeling of the drying process simulates heat and mass transport using mathematical equations and numerical techniques. By controlling process parameters, including temperature, humidity, and airflow rate, superheated drying using a computational approach may increase the efficiency and quality of food drying operations. Despite typical drying procedures, which may result in nutrient loss owing to extended exposure to high temperatures, the approach can preserve the nutritious content of food products. Superheated drying dramatically reduces drying time, resulting in less nutritional loss. The computational method permits the optimization of drying process parameters, resulting in enhanced product quality while preserving the nutritional content of food goods. Many food items, including fruits, vegetables, cereals, and meat, have been processed using technology. The simulation findings provide light on the drying behavior of food goods, including their moisture content, shrinkage, and quality features such as color and texture. Developing more efficient and effective drying procedures improves product quality and reduces energy usage.
