This exploratory study critically examines the intricate role of governmental entities in the implementation of tourism carrying capacity strategies, with a focal point on stakeholder engagement dynamics. In light of the imperative to manage tourism growth sustainably, this research endeavors to uncover the complex interplay between visitor demands and environmental and socio-cultural considerations. Employing an exploratory approach, the study delves into the collaborative efforts among diverse stakeholders, including governmental agencies, local communities, tourism operators, and environmental advocacy groups, in formulating and executing carrying capacity measures.
