摘要

This chapter aims to investigate burn out experienced by principals and heads of non-profit organisations and the characteristics that are responsible for their burn out. The method of the study is quantitative, and the research tool used is the questionnaire. The sample consists of a total of 51 principals and heads of primary education school units. The results of the study demonstrate a statistically significant difference between men and women in relation to the Endogenous (JS) factors of burnout. There is a correlation between years of service and Depersonalization in relation to teachers, which is a parameter of burnout. The contact of principals with students is a refreshing process, in contrast to the contact with teachers at the school.
