摘要

This article explores the development and implementation of an innovative medical waste management application with a focus on the hospital environment. In the current context of Internet of Things (IoT) technology, the article shows how this technology can significantly contribute to the optimization of processes in the healthcare environment, especially in terms of waste management. The main topics covered in this article include functional and non-functional application specifications, overall architecture, software solutions used and relevant conclusions. The article highlights the need for strict specifications to ensure the efficiency and security of the medical waste management process. The importance of appropriate software solutions and integration of IoT technologies in this context is also highlighted. With statistical data on the increasing amount of medical waste and the associated risks, the article argues the need for a smarter and more technological approach to managing this waste. Thus, the proposed application presents itself as a viable solution for hospitals around the world in the efficient and safe management of medical waste. Finally, the article highlights its contribution to the sustainable development of the healthcare sector by implementing an innovative waste management solution, bringing significant benefits to the environment and the healthcare community.
