Mechatronic-eXtended Reality Integration: Potential for Rehabilitation Applications
摘要
In recent years, there has been a growing demand for rehabilitation options that are both affordable and accurate. This research presents a novel integration of the Stewart platform with the Oculus Meta Quest 2, effectively combining mechanical precision with an immersive virtual environment. With the potential to be used for individuals with vestibular system impairments, this inclusive system provides a cost-effective way to access advanced rehabilitation services. The system’s reference and time response can be modified, and there is the possibility to create customized applications tailored to specific age groups or conditions.
