摘要

Telemedicine has become a forefront resource in how people access their healthcare providers. The emerging potential of remote monitoring and health data storage, virtual and augmented reality, and robotics have increased the interest in telerehabilitation to overcome barriers associated with traditional face-to-face standard care. The remote delivery of rehabilitation offers opportunities for individuals affected by injury, disease, or disorders. This review focuses on identifying studies that integrate sensors and devices into telerehabilitation-based interventions. These devices can play a critical role in monitoring patients’ conditions and logging their status over extended periods of time.
