Exploring EEG Patterns as Indicators of Stress: A Comprehensive Study

The intricate relationship between electroencephalography (EEG) activity and stress responses in the context of young, healthy adults is the focal point of this study. Leveraging cutting-edge EEG technology, we journeyed to unravel the dynamic interplay between the human brain and stress. Our research entailed the administration of a comprehensive stress questionnaire while monitoring participants’ brain activity through an 8-channel EEG system. The resultant analysis, employing spectral power examination of real-time EEG data, unveiled noteworthy insights into the neural underpinnings of stress. The prospect of real-time identification and categorization of stress through EEG presents a groundbreaking avenue for the field. Our experiments not only shed light on the potential of EEG as an invaluable instrument for monitoring and comprehending stress responses, but they also hold profound implications for mental health treatments and optimizing workplace productivity.
