The Role of Adult Education and Building Community Capabilities in Rural Development

As local economies transition away from fossil fuel dependence to sustainable alternatives, the adult workforce must be equipped to participate in that transition. This chapter addresses adult education needs and strategies for vulnerable communities that can work in places that may have limited traditional educational resources.
