摘要

Over the past few decades, there has been a growing utilization of Event-Based Control (EBC) for continuous systems in industrial applications. In contrast to the conventional time-triggered controllers employed in industry, which execute control algorithms at fixed intervals, Event-Based Controllers initiate their control algorithms solely upon the occurrence of asynchronous events that indicate noteworthy changes in the system’s state. An illustrative instance of such an event reception strategy could be a sampler triggering an event whenever the error signal (difference between set-point or reference and controlled output) surpasses specific thresholds.
