ComorbiViz: A Tool for Visualizing Comorbidity Risks and Costs Associated with Obesity
摘要
The comorbidity risks in patients with obesity are correlated with different factors, and the cost of care of these comorbidities varies across regions and demographics. This paper introduces ComorbiViz, a tool to provide concise visual and quantitative representation of comorbidity risks and costs associated with obesity based on patients’ clinical data, social determinants of health (SDoH), and other diagnosed health conditions at a state level. The insights derived from this tool can facilitate data-driven conversations to educate and empower patients with obesity across all regions and demographics.
