Hardware Parameters for Trust Mechanisms in MIoT

Trust mechanisms are an effective way of preventing and mitigating sensor errors in an IoT network. Having as an image a lot of sensors that collect data and transmit them to be processed, these trust mechanisms have the role of being a filter to validate the correctness of the data. Erroneous or corrupt data can negatively influence the operation of the entire network, therefore protecting each node or disabling it for analysis is a very good solution. The present trust mechanisms are based on the network connection parameters and do not take into account the hardware parameters of the sensors. The objective of this proposal is to explain the importance of hardware parameters for identifying operating errors or even attacks on nodes.
