Assessment of Different Biosignals with Potential Benefits in Robotic Assisted Neuromotor Rehabilitation
摘要
The use of robotic systems in neuromotor rehabilitation is a highly discussed topic, due to the multiple advantages that these systems offer. Their integration into new processes and embedding into complex functional systems still requires fundamental research. Due to the diversity of patients who suffer from neuromotor deficits, the implementation of innovative and advanced methods for real-time monitoring and active interaction with the patient, to provide personalized treatments, becomes critical. This paper explores the integration of robotics in neuro-motor therapy, emphasizing several possibilities to enhance the personalized treatment options for these patients. It makes a preliminary assessment of the potential use of different biosignals and technical approaches, which could contribute to the advancement of robotic rehabilitation. Using an Analytic Hierarchy Process, together with the definition of technical solutions, the most important features for new biosignals integration in robotic rehabilitation are identified.
