Analysis of Environmental Sustainability Through Corporate Social Responsibility

The study focuses on the identification of various efforts taken by Indian public sectorPublic sector steel companies in different dimensions of environmental protection. This study is based on the content analysis of the annual reports and sustainabilitySustainability reports of companies for the identification of various dimensions of their environmental sustainabilityEnvironmental sustainability. Moreover, various standards have been identified that guide the companies for effective sustainabilitySustainability practices and reporting. The study has found that Steel Authority of India Limited, RINL, and NMDC are the companies making more efforts to achieve environmental sustainabilityEnvironmental sustainability through their CSR practices.
