Mapping and Visualization of Research Productivity of Scientific Literature on Agricultural Waste: A Bibliometric Analysis

摘要

The current study has used bibliometricBibliometric and visualization techniques to review the literature on agricultural wasteAgricultural waste published in the Web of ScienceWeb of Science database. The study used data collected in the Scopus database and other data sources. By applying Association Search in the advanced search section of Scopus, papers from the top twenty journals were retrieved. Software packages MS Excel and VOS viewer were employed for data processing and extraction of bibliometricBibliometric indicators. This is for assessing the journals’ work effectiveness based on the data obtained from documents. The study analyzed the overall success of researchers dealing with agricultural wasteAgricultural waste in their research quest, efficiency, and publishing achievements. The study addressed questions related to most active countries, organizations, and authors; favorite types of sources of researchers; the collaboration of authors; the most widely used keyword and co-occurrence network in agricultural wasteAgricultural waste; and the attribution and usage of influential science. Similarly, emphasis was laid on top-ranked publications, authors per paper, degree of collaboration based on the collected data. One thousand four hundred ninety-three articles, written by 16,185 writers affiliated with 4612 institutions from around 122 countries, published these records/data review posts. The higher rate of publication, citation, and link strength is notable for the USA, India, Peoples Republic of China for agricultural wasteAgricultural waste reuse, recycling, and circular economy. The University of Tsinghua leads the group in the number of total publications. For the University of Sains Malaysia, the total highest quotations and Citations Impact were spotted as the highest. The University of Tsinghua won over the total link strength of agricultural wasteAgricultural waste.
