Embryology of the Reproductive Tract

The intrauterine development of the mammalian female genital organs is presented, with special reference to the bovine, within the frame of morphological, physiological, and genetical aspects. The chronological discussion of early embryological events leads to the exposure of specific mesodermal, mesonephric and paramesonephric changes, gonadal formation and primordial cells migration, and subsequent ovarian and female tract developmental changes. Most processes are illustrated by pictures and drawings.
