Microorganism-Induced Benign Hematologic Conditions

Many infections present with hematologic manifestations, prompting consultation with a hematologist. Hematologic abnormalities may be correctable by treating the underlying infection and often require a multidisciplinary approach with infectious-disease consultation. We will focus on a brief review of selected infections and their benign hematologic manifestations in this chapter.
