摘要
The surgical practice is multifaceted and involves very complex and very acute diseases that require an effective system to be successful. Building an effective leadership to address these systemic issues starts with a clear mission and vision. This chapter will discuss the necessary elements of a surgical administration as well as traits needed by a leader to allow their administration to be effective. Then, they should provide the necessary tools that would enable its individual providers to provide high-quality care.
