Rocket Equation
摘要
To consider mass losses present in many collisions (parts of the vehicle fly off), it is necessary to use the well known “Rocket equation”, developed by the Russian physics Konstantin Tsiolkovsky in 1897, based in the concept of conservation of momentum, which expresses that any vehicle, for example a rocket, can accelerate himself ejecting mass a high velocity in opposite sense. Then, at the end, an analogy is made between the two situations: the vehicle collision and the rocket movement.
