摘要

This study aims to investigate the role of emerging technologies in promoting digital inclusion and enhancing the quality of life of the elderly population, considering the increase in life expectancy. The qualitative methodology adopts an integrative review of the literature, conducted in three relevant databases: Scopus, Web of Science, and Emerald. The selected articles undergo a synthesis and categorization process through a thematic approach, allowing for the identification of emerging categories. Additionally, this study maps the evolution of elderly care institutions in a specific demographic region to highlight the growth of the elderly population in need of assistance and inclusion in the digital age. This research contributes to understanding the relevance of emerging technologies in promoting the inclusion and quality of life of the elderly, addressing the challenge of population aging.
