Pseudorandom Binary Generator Based on Combining Nonlinear Feedback Shift Registers

This work develops the procedure for the construction of a pseudorandom binary generator based on a mixture of pseudorandom binary sequences, produced by Nonlinear Feedback Shift Registers (NLFSR), using majority functions and a Boolean combination function. The design process includes: characteristics of the NLFSR, definition of the model, selection of different NLFSR, selection of Boolean functions based on their optimal cryptographic properties, key and methodology to obtain the initial states of the NLFSR, composition of the generator with the chosen elements, selection of random statistical tests to use and criteria to analyze results, implementation and verification of randomness of sequences obtained.
