Validation of Metrics for the Deployment of Software Systems: Case Studies in SMEs in Argentina
摘要
The growing demand for quality software products requires software developers to use standards and methodologies that ensure the delivery of those software products with the required quality. Deployment is the software process by which the software system is transferred to the client company. For SMEs, it is essential to improve their processes to be competitive. They must carry out initiatives that contribute to the development and improvement of their competitiveness. The use of metrics in the deployment process allows keeping track of all activities and tasks, reducing costs due to rework, avoiding delays in the delivery of the software product, and increasing the quality of the process. This article presents the results of the validation of the metrics designed for the software systems deployment process through two case studies in SMEs from Argentina.
