Comparative Analysis of Heat Transfer in Disc Brake Systems Under Different Conditions

摘要

High temperatures during braking can cause wear and deformation on the brake surface and brake mechanism, leading to reduction in durability and loss of braking performance. To assess the increasing extent of the temperature generated in the brake mechanism, a disc brake model is constructed. The Comsol software is selected to simulate the heat generation and dissipation process during braking process. Additionally, braking time, load and brake disc material are analyzed. The results demonstrate the variation in brake’s temperature under different operating conditions. Furthermore, the findings serve as a theoretical basis for optimizing brake mechanism design and implementing heat dissipation solutions for the brake system.
