摘要

This article shows the results of a multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) investigation into the optimal process factors to grind Al6061 T6 by CBN wheel in order to attain low surface roughness (SR) and maximum material removal speed (MRS). This was accomplished using the multi-target optimization technique based on ratio analysis (MOORA) approach to solve the MCDM issue and the MEREC (approach based on the Removal Effects of criterion) technique to establish the weights of the criterion. Additionally, wheel speed (WS), feed rate (Fe), depth of cut (aed), and down feed (Df) were the four process input factors that were investigated. The 2-level 1/2 fraction form was used in the creation of the experiment. To deal with the above task, the experiment’s results, which included the SR and MRS, were gathered. From the output outcomes, the ideal process factors for the mentioned work have been discovered.
